New Year, New Laptop.
HP OMEN's latest update to the range features largely around the substantial change to it's chassis; bringing in a more premium design, re-enforced hinges, increased cooling performance and the ability to overclock it straight out of the box.

Omen's first overclockable laptop
The OMEN-X removed the previously included optical drive to fit two high performance fans which pull air in from the new vents included in the chassis, combined with 4 x 3.5mm heat pipes this keeps temperatures at a minimum. This new cooling combined with it's HK Series intel processor, which is factory unlocked for overclocking, means it's ready out the box for performance enhancements.
Two Variants, Multiple specs
In both a 15.6" and a 17" variant the OMEN-X offers gamers a wide range of models, featuring up to a NVIDIA 1080 graphics card but also being available in a more modest 4GB 1050 which is still perfect for casual gamers, being able to run latest releases even if not on ultra-high.
Storage Upgrade access with it's new single panel design
Most of the OMEN-X models feature both HDD and an SSD as standard, meaning short boot-up times with an abundance of storage for games and content. The new chassis with the OMEN-X allows for upgrades to the HDD, SSD and it's RAM; needing just a philips screwdriver to remove the back-panel for total access.
G-SYNC enabled
The OMEN-X is compatible with the latest G-SYNC monitors, meaning you can plug straight in through the HDMI port when you're at the desk.
RGB Back-lit Keyboard
Featuring an RGB backlit keyboard with highlighted WASD, the OMEN-X is great for use in dim lighting and comes with a 26-key rollover anti-ghosting, which helps ensure every keystroke is detected.
