Ive got a 7950 at the mo but I woundering which would be better todo. would it be better to xfire with another or sell and get r9 290.

Ive got the 7950 clocked and although its ok I want to get 120 fps out of the monitor ive bought.

Any suggestions welcome

Probably going to need two cards to get 120fps minimums and then your 2500k might hold you back.

In ultra on bf4 you maybe looking at 80-130 fps depending on map and so on. Anything dropped down to medium settings you are looking at rarely dipping below 120fps.

Depends on how you play.

If you are 1080p only then one 290 card should be plenty.

I've got 7970+7950 in CF with an 2500k. I'll let you know what kinda fps I sit at. Just to give you an idea.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
13081, 115275, 83, 156, 113.476

That was 64 player on rouge transmission(?) rarely play BF4 so can't remember the map names

For me, nope. I can't think of any issues off the top of my head at all.

I can't really speak for others, it's hard to find anyone else who mixes two cards.

Just been having a quick look on oc and I thinl im leaning towards a 780 and sell my 7950

Is there any I should try and get was looking at evga ac atx but also the msi one is on sale this week
