Got the job..

Hey all,

Just got the job that I'd applied for (posted comfirmation) a month ago, so I'm chuffed

Coming from a job with a small company (50 employees) to a much larger job with 300+ as a manager.. so I'm quietly ****ing myself!

Although qualified in a different area of experise as this chosen career path I decided that the company I was with offered no real expansion and I was underpaid for my knowledge; so I quit.

It's been about 7 months of working for myself, and trying to apply for jobs here, there and everywhere so I started taking some courses at the local business college to beef up my CV.

Anyway, took the exams and now I'm starting Monday, can't wait!

FYI: The job I applied for is Health and Safety Manager and my co-worker in HR is a stunner

meh, not keen on anything to do with H&S these days, generally everything seems too restrictive and kills the fun out of things

however, congrats anyway, co-worker situations sounds ideal

Just found out that it's 9-5, Monday to Friday and I get paid weekly (which I found strange)
