Received my wheels from Rochford tyres last week, turned up promptly and arranged to get them fitted Saturday mroning at a local garage as I wanted to get the alignment done so thought Id get them to fit them while I was at it.

At this point Id already found I was missing all 4 centre caps as they hadnt been delviered.

Got a call from the garage saying that 3 wheels were fitted problem free, 4th wheel wouldnt go on the car at all, and they had tried every combination possible. The stud pattern on the 4th wheel was slightly off, obviously just a minor fault while being manfucatured.

Called up Rochford tyres, and after about 20 minutes of phone conversations between them, me and the mechanic I manged to arrange collection of this wheel on Tues/Wed and to be swapped with a new one.

Great I thought, hung up and just before leaving one of the other mechanics told me just to double check theyd sent the right spacers as they werent fitting flush and were a few mm too deep.

Rang them back this morning jsut to check everything is ok, and that the centre caps were sorted and to check about the spacers, and they have no record of me ringing on Sat, nevermind this booked in collection and delivery,

What a joke! Had to explain the whole situation again, they didnt even bother listening, just tried to get me off the phone as soon as possible. If I hadnt prompted them Id have probably ended up with the completely wrong tyres too.

So now Im sitting here, expecting a collection tomorrow or Wed, and I wont be holding my breath!

Has anyone here ordered from them before, what was your order like? Trouble free or any problems?

Sorry to hear that but this is why I normally get OEM alloys.
Unfortunately, there isnt much available as its an FTO. Im not sure whether Evo alloys fit straight on or not.

i had the same problem with halfords when i ordered my display set

the wheels went on the car fine... just needed spigot rings.. which halfords provided, but were the wrong ones.... so i had to wait 3-4 weeks before i could get the wheels on the car *sigh*
