And still going. Although I need to test it further it did pass dual prime for another 9 hours.

4Ghz for me has been the holy grail in overclocking since way back when i have my 3.2Ghz northwood and an MSI neo board. Could just about suicide screenshot it at 4Ghz then reboot. Am a bit happy now that ive got 4Ghz stable. (I hope)

I dont think i will get to much more out of it due to the memory being used. only 667 DDR2. thats the speed its running at so anymore is dependent on the "major on 3rd" vlaue memory I have.

Hey at least I know what this board can do with a P805D chip. cant wait till i get conroe in it in a couple of months.

Edit - i still have a thread open in the CPU forum however i didnt want to post in that as its sort of a seperate issue.

lol same replacment as i did. (stop gap ;) )

prime stable for 9 hours but havnt treid 3d. will do later, got to go to pub for couple of hours first.

I will post back later with "stable" or "not" and try and jack it up alittle.

Jokes aside, if you can get 4gig stable that is very nice.
OMG, i was waiting till the clock changed to 4000. DOH. will have restults tomorrow morning or evening. keep posted. :)

why sell it, I work for a computer / PC component reseller ;)

I will post back later with the prime to see if it passed or not. fingers crossed.

Oh I was gonna ask actually, what cooling are you using and what sort of temps are you getting? Was gonna set my mate up with a D805 in his new rig if he can't quite stretch to an E6300, but I'm a bit worried about the heat...

Cheers,

Suman

I first thought this was conroe or something, but then I realised it was a 805 :p

:p but this was free and a conroe will fit in this system leaving the venice for dust ;)

Water cooling. Max temp is about 38c

So what motherboard and cooling is this.

Overclocking one of these might be a good test for kentsfield since they'll use double the power of conroe I believe.

The pi is about 2 seconds faster then I got with my old athlon :D Of course with dual core its a lot nicer :)

Its on very good water, PA120.3 rad etc etc :) will post prime bench mark tomorrow morning now, lol my wife turned it off at 16 hours ish as soon as i got back.
