Hello,

I installed Windows XP on a new partition (created by "partition Wizard"), and allocated 50 gigs. So i rebooted Windows 7, put my XP32 disk in, and set it up on drive E (W7 was on C), NTSF etc. Installed fine, and have Windows XP on now, but twhen i reboot,it only restarts to windows XP, and doesn't seem to see it at all.

Usually, I would se "selective Operating systems" to choose from, but there is nothing here, just Winxp, although the Dive C has all the Win7 files there, so it's "on" but cant boot to it - or Both. i need WinXP for my music software

TIA for any answers on this

thanks for reply,
would having both drives set as "primary" have something to do with this (don't know too much about BCD edit, but loaded "vistaBootpro" up to see if i could see anything...

thanks

Nope, it's got nothing to do with jumper settings. You need to recreate a Win 7 boot sector and then add XP to that list.
