Gothic 4 screens

Are any of those actually screenshots? They look a bit like loading screens to me. But gameplay is whats more important to me.
I've only played gothic 3, it seemed to have great potential, but the combat system was plain awful, ruined the game for me.
 
Every one of Gothic series was great to play about a year after the release - once it had been properly patched. I won't be bothering with Gothic 4 as the developers basically left Gothic 3 to the public to patch and fix.

Gothic 3 is still a turd - it is beyond patching. G1 & 2 were some of my favourite games.
 
Hello there :)

Gothic 3 made me cry :(. What a let down after playing Gothic 2

I use gothic 3 box to hit when i get stressed out now :p
 
I persevered with gothic 3 and found it to be a thoroughly rewarding experience. As with all change, some will love it some will hate it (look at the compaints about oblivion, aimed mostly at things fans of Morrowind had asked for!)

The combat in 3 was different to that of 2, some liked it some didn't, personally I thought there was more skill in the system in Gothic 2, but I didn't let that detract from my enjoyment of 3. Well worth the effort - but be warned, some is required ;)

Can't wait for 4 - let's hope the story gets even better!
