Been looking forward to this all day! (sorry the pics a bit fuzzy)

Requires:

1 Old El Paso Nacho Dinner Kit
1 jar of Old El Paso Guacamole
1 jar of Old El Paso sour cream
1 jar of Old El Paso jalepenos
1 tin of Old El Paso refried beans
Cheese (I went for a combination of white chedder, monterey jack and mexicano cheese)

Heat up the beans seperately and then spoon onto the nachos when ready. And then gorge yourself silly! OM NOM NOM NOM!!!

Does look very nice indeed! I usually just have the classic fajitas which get boring after a while..especially when there's not enough filling :p

I have fond it is cheaper to buy the separate constituent parts from tesco rather than the kits, then I buy 500g of chicken from waitrose and then you ave enough filling.

I find their stuff pretty rough, especially that guacamole in the glass jar, it tastes nothing like guacamole should. The Discovery things can be alright, I'm particularly fond of their chipotle paste.

Discovery's stuff is, pretty much across the board, much better than Old El Paso. The Jalapenos especially.

i tried a full nacho kit to myself once after seeing kurt Russell eating a nacho platter on `deathproof` it wasnt as good as the one he had :(

That is because old el dustbin, pad there guacamole out with peas as they are green and will trick the average customer.

Last few years I have gotten into Old El Paso

I have to put Old El Paso jalepenos on nearly every sandwich I make.

Asda have 2 for £2 on certain Old El Paso stuff

I got started on the old el paso stuff too, still buy them but mainly for the Enchilada, taco and fajita kits. If you're smart you can buy them when they're on offer. Asda had the Enchilada kits for £1 each recently so we stock up then.

When it comes to spice mixes we do that ourselves and definately get the discovery range as they're much better quality, but a decent mexican cookbook can have you well on the way to making your own stuff from scratch. Especially the salsa and guacamole *dribbles*
