Well that saga with my PC continues....

but its getting slightly better now. my main problem is the fact that i bought it from dell like an impatient idiot and had to suffer the consequences with 4gb RAM 32 bit OS and all that jazz....

still not sorted that problem as although ive upgraded to vista ultimate, Dell's s***box OEM Foxconn board has no Bios features at all and i cannot sort my memory mapping out

Alas i have been able to enjoy it still, (until funds become available for a new board) and even more so now ive found Riva tuner so i can still overclock my GPU

Now my 3d mark score aint up to much cop compared to most people but i feel its a great improvement from the 4100 score i got on my first go...

It is currently running @ 6236 (3D mark score) and my GPU is clocked @ 675/1350/864 as aposse to the stock 540/1188/700 that nvidia turf it out at!!

yer that is the case with the case (no pun)

but ill obviously need to upgrade my case too pretty sharpish for new cooling and stuff.

BTW no worries on thread hijack, i aint a fascist

and silversurfer im using a nvidia 8600 GT on stock cooling

Do you not have the option to switch to Vista64 for free - thought that was part of the licensing? Solve the problem?

nope i upgraded at my own expense as Dell have it in the small print (W*****S)
