This sounds completely stupid, how can they possibly even know you are copying disks? Come to your house and check you arent copying? :rolleyes:

Ahem. First of all the government is thinking of UNBANNING copying CDs for private use, say to MP3 players/iPods. And secondly I win!

The article seems to suggest that they are going to allow copying for private use only.

That's why they want to legalise this so we can make backups of the data they will inevitably lose.
