GoW Splitscreen help

How do you get two-player splitscreen online? The only way we managed it last night was by setting up a mate with another account and registering him for the free month trial. I read on the net that you can have a splitscreen online by having the second person as a guest..but i couldnt work it out.

Help.

Go on versus, then xbox live player game, then get the second player to press "Y" and sign in as the guest.

Isn't versus one-on-one?

You have to have a live subscription for both account i think

Dont think Split-screen and online made it into the final game.. afaik.. although maybe to full sucriptions are needed.

I saw someone playing the other day with the names Wiggo and Wiggo(2).. so that must have been someone signed in as a guest?
