anyway to give hi-res tracks and cars also bring in upto date teams/cars/drivers?

This site is the main GP4 forum that I know off. Most of the new works for GP4 is posted about here with links posted there.
The site hosts some of the downloads but there are two other main download sites. You should find most of what you need on those sites.

There is also a 2005 and 2006 mod being developed. The mods will hold hi-res cars, helmets and even tracks I believe.
