..But not for the Administrator user.

Hi,
I'm trying to remove the log off option from the start menu for any user that's not Administrator (or an administrator, but we only have the "Administrator" user set up as one).
Anyway, I've found "Remove Log Off on Start Menu in the
Local Computer Policy/User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Start Menu and Taskbar.

This seems to affect all users, and I'm sure there's a way for [The logoff option] to be removed from the start menu, but not for admin.

Anyone have any ideas how?

I've also tried System Policy Editor remotely onto the target pc with the user I'm interested in logged on at the time. Found an option under "Windows NT System" - "Disable Logoff" and checked that, saved it, but doesn't seem to have made any difference whatsoever.

So I'm stuck.
I COULD just remove it from all users and logoff with Start > Run > logoff - but I'd rather keep it a little "cleaner than that" approach.

Cheers.

Sorry should have mentioned. It's XP.
Does what you say (optitech-uk) render Eulogy's suggestion ... not good?

I may give it a go anyway, unless there's really no point. And it's not running on a domain.
