I stupidly posted this in the Graphics Cards section, thought i may get a better answer here....
In the bios i have this option:
After uninstalling my graphics drivers today, I rebooted and then after about a minute or so my monitor would lose signal and keyboard a mouse became unresponsive.
Today while trying to find a solution i found this GPP option which was set to 25w. Thinking that this might be how much power each slot is limited to, i tried upping it to 100w .... and the problem seems to have gone
Since finding this option i tried to find out exactly what its for but it doesn't anything in the manual and many people online aren't totally sure what its for. But some people are saying that it should be at 75w.
Then i found this:
The PCIe 2.0 150W spec allows 75W from the slot and 75W from 6pin connector.
The slot will provide a maximum of 75W whether PCIe 1,2 or 3.
Does anyone know if GPP Slots Power Limit is to set how much power each slot is limited to?
