GPRS on iPhone - How?

I use an ASDA PAYG mobile simcard in my iPhone and I've entered the APN, username and password under the Cellular Data section, when I go to any web enabled app like email it doesn't connect to GPRS, is there something I need to do to enable it?

Get with a proper network would be my first suggestion.

You have to use an O2 SIM in an iPhone, any other SIM would involve jailbreaking and/or unlocking it and we're not allowed to discuss that here.
