This thread is not a request on how to hack a wireless network - just how to scan for them.

I'm trying to find some Windows 7 based software for my Netbook, that can use GPS to tell me where wireless networks are, when I'm travelling around.

What I would like to do is see a map with the wireless networks found after I am done. I am not planning to hack or use these networks.

You mean you want to log the location of wifi networks and also their GPS co-ordinates as you drive/walk around?

Netstumbler can do it, http://blog.unclehulka.com/2005/05/16/netstumbler-gpsvisualizer-cool/
Kismet can (for Linux)

Just google for "mapping wifi" or "gps log wifi", there should be loads on it.
