Anyone know if there is an cool symbian based gps software that can track laptimes/other speed related data.

Something symbian based that is vaguely like a racelogic system would be amazing but I know nothing about this sort of technology. Does anyone on here?

Trying to figure out ways not to get caught timing on track days are we? :D

Actually, truth be said I'm a little out of the loop on timing gear that'll gel with symbian. Having said that, are you looking for a specific purpose to this? Or, is there a reason you cannot for example just use proprietary timing gear, like Racelogic, MST, Motec, Stack, TAG etc that'll give readouts to laptop and so on.

Just wondering what your situation is. ;)

Perhaps! Hadn't really thought about doing it subtely just fancied harnessing the power of my phone and not paying out very much money.

I do a few trackdays and fancy measuring how my performance improves or deteriorates over a session. Nothing special or clever I'm afraid.

I'm going to give race chrono a shot. Thanks for the advice.
