One of my friends has a 6 year old kid, they should like to get a wearable GPS tracker that they can put on her son ideally a watch - I have seen that tags seem to be very popular and recommended but she thinks a watch would be better for him. She has a android phone so I am guessing android based or compatible with her phone would be best, also not too expensive as budget friendly as possible. She just wants to be able to track her son if he goes running off on his own when they go to the park for example.
Can anyone recommend a budget friendly good GPS watch/tracker for her?
Thanks in advance

Erm....I was thinking Airtag or Samsung's version, but will need other people to be near by.

That is what I suggested tags of some sort.. in addition to the apple and samsung ones there are also gps tags available too. But she thinks a watch would be better, I have seen some but they require a sim card and i have no experience of any of these so would find it hard to recommend to be honest

She has two kids and is a single mum now. You can get GPS tags different from the bluetooth ones (apple airbags for example) i believe
