just built new pc HP Z4 G4 and attempted to install my Palit 2070 super JS

this card has 2 8pin slots but my PSU only has 2 6pin cables.

it came with a Y adapter for 2 6pin to 1 8pin but this is no use to me as need 2 8pin

can i use 2x 6-8pin adapters and that be ok, should be delivered today to test?

Note the PC is new reasonably high end and comes with a 750watt psu.
Xeon 4-4.5ghz and 32gb ram

I have used 6>8pin in the past without any issue.

The PSU has the cables for how much power it is rated to deliver. Your card arguably is specced for up to 300W via PCIe power cables, your PSU arguably is rated for up to 150W via its cables.

It comes down to the quality of the PSU (brand, OEM and build/model, not just the number on the sticker), and the draw of the card including overclocking.

Are those 6-pin connectors coming on separate cables or the same one? If you do get it working it'd be sensible to play it safe with clocks and power limits.
