Hi desperate need of a upgrade currently using a gtx 770 so showing It's age looking to spend about £200 maybe go a little over if it's worth it.

Currently running
Ryzen 7 2700x
MSI Mortar Max
Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series DDR4 16GB
WD SN750 1TB m.2

I know you probably get asked these questions most days but any help would be greatly appreciated.

1660super can be had for £200, best card around that price. It will be significantly faster than your 770, its roughly equal to a gtx 1070 performance.

Well I was planning on purchasing a 1440p monitor but I'm think my original budget for the graphics card might be a little low, if I was to go for the 1440p route what sort of card should I be looking at? Thanks

Could you stretch to a 5700XT, from around £330 depending on model. That would be a good choice for 1440p. Just depends if you're happy with that level of expenditure as it's a big leap from your original budget.

PSU may be a deciding factor. Typically the Nvidia cards are going to drawer less power at the same performance level. Stay away from VEGA unless you have a good PSU, or budget to replace it.

Budget wise there's no set in stone amount so can go up to £300 with out much problem.
My current psu is Corsair RM750x would this be fine for those GPU or would this also need upgrading.

PSU should be fine, even for the VEGA, which would be the best performance for the price.

Spend £330 and you'd have a choice of either a 5700XT or 2060S. By that time your CPU will start being bottleneck, but they would both be good for 1440P

Even though I've got a Strix Vega 64, if I was you, I'd go for the newer Navi cards like a 5700XT for 1440p. Best to get newer tech. You don't have Members Market access yet so it's not an option to get second hand from there.

Get a Freesync monitor or one that can do both Nvidia and AMD cards, to cover you.
