So I am gonna go for a 1070 Ti and I have pretty much decided on either of the following as both of these are at the top of my budget range:

Or

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-19m-gi.html

I'm not sure if there are any real advantages with one over the other so if anyone has any advice thre it'd be welcome.

Also I wanted to ask about the power connectors. I know one needs an 8 pin & 6 pin connector and the other just an 8 pin connector. I believe my PSU has a couple of 6 pin + 2 PCIE power connectors, would these do the job or would I be looking at having to get a new PSU also?

What I would be looking at is which has the best cooler as the core and memory speeds are nie on identicle. The power supply isn't a problem, I have my 2 x 8-pin connectors using the 6+2 PCIE connectors.

You do have to have a beefy enough power supply to use it, on average a 600W will do, with better quality ones you can get away with lower output, so as long as you have that then you should be good to go.

Thanks so much about the answer with the connectors, good to know I'm good to go!

I've got a 750W PSU so looks like I'm good to go. Will do a little reading up on the cooling and go from there!
