Hi All

I have a 3rd Gen AMD system on X570 and I am wanting to upgrade my GPU and purchase a 4k monitor (32 inch Freesync ideally)

Naturally I'm thinking of a 6800XT or 6900XT.

Here is my question.

If I purchased a 60hz 4k monitor am I wasting money on a 6900xt that can have higher frame rates. Would I be better purchasing a 6800XT that can hit 60fps in most games and using the money saved for a better monitor?

Unless anyone can recommend my a 4k monitor that is freesync that is more than 60hz

Definitely just ignore the 6900xt as the 6800xt is within a few frames and not worth the extra money imo.

I often recommend people to go for 1440p/144hz instead of 4k as it is a much better experience for both single player and esports.

My 6900xt is on average at 80c and my 5600x is at 70c are these temperatures high when gaming on 1440p High texture at 120 to 200 FPS depending on location in warzone. I can turn up the fan curve for the case as it’s not on full so just wondering if these temps are high. (The temperature really goes higher then the above)

thanks all in advance
