GPU and Monitor Choice???

Hello,

I am going to upgrade my old P4 PC for a self built Core i7 specced system.
The system is used in a home recording studio with Cubase for audio production.
But I do use it for the odd video edit and the only game that that will play on this system is Flight SimX with high settings if possible. I would like to run 2x 20/22' monitors

too (also recommendation on these would be nice too).

I don't really want to put my old 9800XT card in this system.
So, I am looking at a GTX260 or a 4870 card which may be overkill for its use. You may also think a Core i7 system is overkill too.
But as I am building a system to last the next few years (like my P4 3.2 system did!) so I may aswell get a decent GPU.

Your advice and opinions on this would be great.

Thanks

I would go with this card which has a 5 year warranty and is the cheapest gtx260.

If you want to go ati i would go with this card.

There is a cheaper 4870 but i like the new cooler on the sapphire cards. Both of the above are around the same price and have pretty much equal performance. The only thing i would say is if you keep your stuff for long periods of time the zotac has the longer warranty.
