GPU and Monitor compatibility

Is the benq g2222hdl 21.5" widescreen led monitor compatible with the Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB "Golden Sample" - Goes like Hell or will I need extra cables to connect the ports? Thanks in advance, I'm a complete numpty when it comes to monitors.

Yeah they should be fine. You just need a DVI-D cable and your good to go

(although I wouldn't go with the one I linked, you can probably get them for a lot cheaper)

EDIT: Make sure it's not a DVI-A or DVI-I cable as that monitor won't support them.

Also, I'd go for a dual link cable.

Oh, cool. Yeah I changed the link because it didn't specify which type of DVI lead it was but I checked out another website and I'm pretty sure it's DVI-D so it should be fine

Why is it that every DVI-equipped GPU I've ever bought supports DVI-I yet none of the monitors I've bought do - only ever DVI-D?
