gpu and monitor upgrade help

hi guys, looking to upgrade my gpu, mainly so i can get back into VR. I had it successfully working via my 1050ti but then after an update it became unplayable.

I would like to upgrade my monitor too, getting a few headaches so would like to try a higher refresh rate to see if it helps.

I don't really want to spend more than £300-£400 on each (unless its worth it of course)

My head is spinning after researching my options so looking for some personal opinions. i very nearly pulled the trigger on the vega 64 but then i started comparing against the 56 and 1660ti so now not so sure which would be right for me.

my current PC specs are

asus prime z270-a
i5 7400
1050ti
16gb ram
ssd 970 evo
windows 10

monitor is a benq gl2760h, im open to dropping to a 24" if i have too

i have a evga 650gq psu and my case is a game max falcon atx mid tower.

i will need another case to put my old parts in for one of the kids when i have completed upgrades so will be looking to get myself a new case too in the not to distant.

thanks for the help here people, i pulled the trigger on the dgf panel this morning. Managed to get for 323. Will keep an eye on vega 64 prices now. Thanks again
