GPU anti sag bracket?

Any suggestions on which one to get? Concerned over the weight of my card, and seen 3 types of bracket - 1 that attaches underneath and is screwed into spare case slots for pcie stuff. Another is a stand which holds it and the third is similar to a stand but screws into motherboard mounts.

Any thoughts?

I have a plastic megaman who happens to be the right size and colour to match my theme.

I previously had an aftermarket gpu cooler that had a bracket that screws in to the spare case slots, and i felt like it wasn't amazing, the weight being so far away from where its secured.

Agree that they are going to have to do something. Virtually every aftermarket card at this point is triple slot and extends well past the end of the motherboard

I use the one that shipped with my 3080 Ventus, it bolts under the card to the rear bracket. It seems like a more stable solution because with 2 screws it can't move, I guess the stands can? I'd only personally go for a free standing one if the fixed ones can't be used because you have something large in the slot below the card like some kind of SLI/Xfire or another large PCI-e card, in which case you'd need a free standing one.

Just a reminder regarding competitor linking please guys - as OcUK have got you covered with plenty of options for GPU Supports :)

Another vote for lego. Note the spirit level reading.

Just be aware of where it's putting pressure on the fan shroud, I had one stop the end fan from spinning once. Was all good when I moved it.
Mine was built into a case but was most similar to the free standing one with a finger sticking out.

Is there a single case yet of a card breaking due to the weight/sag? Or do we all just not like the way it looks?

Its not the card breaking its the strain on the PCIE slot and motherboard thats the problem. Making sure the card is horizontal ensures full contact on all the PCIE pins.

My lego is free so costs nothing and makes better use of it rather than standing on the sodding thing and hurting my foot. Plus you can customise it to whatever look and colour you want. I wanted to do the old figure holding the card up look but I couldnt find a full one just loads of heads. Think it looks a lot better when you have a mini figure in there holding the card up with its hands.
