GPU at 100% on idle

just noticed this last night and today, double checked to make sure there is nothing running that uses the gpu yet my second card (280x) is stuck at full load from something and i can't figure out what it is.

any ideas? already checked that no mining or folding@home stuff is running.

Mining Virus?

Disable the crossfire, run malware bytes, hitman pro and whatever AV you use.

Is there nothing in your processes showing CPU usage as well to a degree? It does seem strange that only the second card is on 100%. Uninstall and reinstall drivers is my advice, as sounds like a corrupt file.

As nutsnut said, mining virus. Have seen it before. Run Malwarebytes.

I had this on my 7950 xfire and I had to disable ulps.
