Hey, I bought a GPU about a few months ago and it was faulty so I did a lot of research past the months and I returned the item on their website. I bought the item at a discounted price and I returned it but they cant send it back because the item is out of stock and the sale price is over. I can't get my replacement item back and I need to buy a new GPU for my PC at the same price £150, I am going to be doing music production and gaming mainly.

Here are my specs.

AMD FX-6350
Powercolor Radeon HD 7950
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 memory
Western digital caviar blue 1TB 7200RPM Harddrive
Corsair CX500W

Hey I know you guys might disapprove with me however I am really sorry and I need a card that is on ******. I really want to say sorry because they are over clockers competitor but I bought my card at a discounted price and now the card is £229, I made a return but the card is out of stock and is nowhere going to be in stock in the near future. ****** is going to refund my £150 and I need to buy a card that costs the same price, if you could find another card that's worth the original price of my old card and is on a discount I am happily able to do that and pay extra but I want to say sorry. I can't afford to pay a lot of money for a new card on a different site other than ****** but thanks for the recommendations.

270x is a good choice at £150 price point. The Sapphire is clocked higher but the Gigabyte has a better cooler and one year's more warranty. I'd go Gigabyte as above.

There was a grade b 7950 for 150 the other day. If you look around you could probably find one. You'll easily get a 7950 within 200 but you'll struggle to find any 7970's at that price.

The retailer is legally obliged to replace with an identical card at no additional cost to you if you want them to... their current stock levels and offers do not matter - they must do it even if you have to wait a few days...

Because they are out of stock? If they are getting new ones in... then wait... they have to replace it. Email them and say you will wait for the replacement. As Burntproc says... doesn't matter about sale price.. YOU bought the item at a price, and they must replace it if that is what you want. If you must wait a little bit then fine.

I would have said a 7950.. but they have gone back up in price :-(

How do I deal with this type of situation. I told them multiple times but they won't listen about the stocks. It shows on the site the stock is up but they don't want to talk about it. How do I force "way to extreme" them or get my replacement back in just a few days. I asked for refund and I can't check right now and they told me the refund is done but I don't know if they are lying?

I actually need a GPU around £150 - £200.

Just throw me a couple of GPUs that are cost efficient and runs games awesomely and it is good for music production.

AMD FX-6350
Powercolor Radeon HD 7950
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 memory
Western digital caviar blue 1TB 7200RPM Harddrive
Corsair CX500W

These are my specs.

I sent them an email showing my anger towards not getting a identical GPU. Hope this helps me get a replacement. Should I call them, or try to call manager or maybe get the police involved. I don't know really, I don't want my £230 go to waste.

A shop doesn't have to sell you anything. You can't force a shop to give you something if they don't want to. They are entitled to just refund you if they want.

If they're messing you about delaying your refund you just call your card company up and inform them the shop hasn't refunded you within the agreed timeframe and let them sort it out. I've had money back in my account within 30 mins doing this, shops don't want to get too many negative strikes from card companies.

As for a replacement.

At xmas last year I bought an AMD 7850 GPU, I wanted more FPS as I was heavily messing about with Skyrim ENBs a the time and so upgraded to a 7950 which I had for a few weeks, then decided to SLI and got a GTX 670 followed by a 2nd GTX 670 a few weeks later. Each card was a noticeable upgrade over the previous one.

If it were my £150 I'd look on the bay for a used GTX 670/680/760 or continue saving for one of the more recent AMD cards.

Incorrect, I'm afraid.

In the case of a faulty item, under UK law the retailer can choose to repair, replace, or refund.

The retailer cannot, however, choose to give store credit instead of a refund.

Hey found another GPU, its £80 discount offer so I feel like I should get it. Is it good or should I get the other GPU's.
