Can someone please recommend me a decent waterblock with 1/2 threads for a 6800GS, these have 4 screw for the backplate btw. My cpu block is copper so I take it I should really get a copper gpu block right?

I'm using a Aquaextreme MP-1 on my X1800XT and its a fantastic block, and not too expensive at £25.99 inc VAT :)

It'll fit your 6800 too I believe.

Which one have you got mate, the low profile or normal one, are they pure copper?

ps I added you to msn but I think you've blocked me :(

Any other choices, anyone tried the DD Maze 4?

There's basically no difference between the MP-1, Maze 4 and Swiftech block, I read a review and there was about 1 degree in it between all three.

Is that the swiftech mcw55 as well? Can it be used with 1/2 ID , the fittings look odd?

I use that block on my X1900XT with the 1/2" adapters ,worked fine on my 7800GT as well, good block imo ;)

Thanks for the info guys, I'll try and source one of these blocks 2nd hand, I know theres some mcw55s in the MM but do I need adaptors?

The ones the guy has in the MM say they come with 1/2" fittings,if not you need to buy swiftech adapter thingies for them, pretty cheap to buy ;)
