GPU brands

I'm looking to buy a used 280x 3gb card and I'm wondering about brands.
In the past I've had bad luck with GPUs so I want to have a decent warranty.
Which cards handle the warranty through the serial number and which have decent RMA service in the UK?

I'm leaning towards an MSI card but would also consider gigabyte or sapphire.

As it's second hand the warranty is only useful if you know/have trust in the seller to help out with any warranty claims.

I think only EVGA offer warranty transfer, but that means going Nvidia.

Otherwise you will need the original invoice to do a claim with the majority of the others, or like tommybhoy ask the original seller to help out with warranty claims.

Thanks, I've read the sticky. So, just to confirm, no brands in the UK offer serial based warranty and I should try to find a seller that will include the receipt? If I have a receipt I'm covered if something goes wrong?

General the warranty is for the original buyer only. Having a receipe/invoice in someone else's name and address won't help you, unless the brand is known to acknowledge warranty transfer, as EVGA mentioned above.
