So I took my water block off my 7970 and put the stock cooler back on, when running games and 3dmark I'm getting a bsod with code x0000124. Which points to hardware fault. I took the cooler off again to make sure it was seated properly and noticed that there was pads missing from somen of the vram chips so put some on.

Ran 3dmark again this time the fan goes straight to 100% then bsod.

Anyone got any ideas?

Really? Thought it was my gpu.

I have disabled speedstep and turbo and up the volts to 1.4. It's an I5 2500k. I'll see how that goes

Cheers
