GPU clocking down when mining

Started recently and dont know why...gpu will clock down to 1050Mhz when mining and i open a browser...any way to stop it?

Didnt used to happen. Nothing graphical happening in browser just has to be open...annoying as reducing my mining speed browse.

edit: if i leave the nvidia control panel image preview bit open ,even minimised the problem goes away.
