Hi all

I have a Acer Predator G3620 and im in need of a new gpu, i spoke to one of the lads at OCuk and they recommended "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750Ti WindForce OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card" would be a good upgrade with in my budget of £150. he also suggested i first contact acer to check compatibility. I did as suggested only to be told they will not help as they dont agree to having any involvement with people upgrading components in the systems.
so this leaves me reaching out to all of you who may be able to help in telling me if it is compatible.

Thanks in Advance. Adam

It should be compatible. It's a pretty new PC, so can't see it having any issues. The Acer site doesn't list what motherboard the PC uses, it might be worth running CPUz and see what motherboard you've got - if it's not a built-for-Acer one then you'll be able to check the manufacturer's website to ensure there won't be any issue.

Assuming that comes back as custom-made or otherwise not very helpful, I'd say buy the GPU. If you try it and Acer have locked the PC down so much it won't boot with a different GPU (seriously, why would they?) you can always return the GPU under the 14 day money back return policy OcUK runs. :)

ty mate ive just run CPUz and the motherboard is a built-for-acer one so not much help there. ill just buy the new gpu and try it, if it wont boot then i may just change the motherboard as well while im at it
