Hello,

Has anyone got / used this. (Akasa AK-VC3-BLUV Vortexx NEO VGA Cooler)??

Any comments on it? Ease of Installation? Pro's ? Con's? etc

Might add one to my 4850 as after about 30mins on COD5 my Temps are around 85*C + and i get artifacts on my screen and then it crashes lol. and for £15 this may solve my problem :D

Thanks

I have one. It does the job but is very noisy if left to run at full speed. I 7v modded mine. It's no-where near as good as the old Arctic Cooling silencer series. It's easy enough to fit but i am glad i only paid £7 for mine. Would'nt buy another one either even though it's about the only cooler that exhausts the hot air out of the case.

I've got two 4850's in crossfire on my rig. both have vortexxs on them. Can be a bit noisy on full, but I rigged mine to my fan controller, so can easily keep the noise down.

they do an excellent job of cooling my cards, never get above 60 with the vortexx set at about 60%. Installation is simple. takes about 10 mins if you take your time

cool....

im looking at that Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo now.... does it require a lot of power as im pushing my psu enough as it is lol?

Easy to install?i have a soundcard in my PCI slot, how much of a gap shud there be between the bottom of the GPU cooler and Sound Card?

Thanks
