In a few months I will be receiving a graphics card from Gigabyte, it's one of their custom jobbies with either 2 or 3 fans like the one in the picture (it will be a 6970). However, in my case mod I am doing I will be using a HAF 932 which will have a side window instead of side fans. So my question is, what is the best way to set up my cooling to keep the GPU chilly. I'm not sure which way the fans move the air, I can provide air from the bottom but my problem will be exhausting it. Thanks in advance!

The HAF has a huge 220mm fan exhausting on the top, as well as the normal rear exhaust fans. With the lower front fan bringing in cool air, airflow should be okay, I'd imagine (though I do like the fact that mine has that massive side fan blowing on the gfx card...).

I'm always thinking that it is going to cause an air pocket, the heat is semi-trapped under the card and will be caught up in the convection caused by the bottom intake and will take ages to exhaust. Will negative air pressure be a good option or should I go positive?

put the side fan back in ;) lol seriously though with the front intake and the top/rear exhaust you should be fine - add in the bottom intake as well and the airflow past the gpu should pull the heat up and out the top

only downfall will be that hot air getting sucked through the cpu cooler but it shouldn't be a massive issue I wouldn't have thought :)

That doesn't matter, I have a CoolIT Vantage which will solve that problem, may set it up on intake from one of the top fans.

Fit a fan at the bottom for intake. The front fan is also an intake as well, so the GPU should be fine. Keep the top as exhuast.

Cheers guys, I will try to make a wind tunnel effect. So a powerful 120/140 on the bottom, stock on the front, rear intaking through the Vantage rad and either the stock or 2x120mm fans exhausting from the top. Want it quiet though, what fans would you recommend?
