Ive got a 4850 and the card gets seriously to hot when im gaming. (Over 100 Degrees sometimes) and the stock fan is just way to loud.

Can anyone recommend me a decent aftermarket cooler?

Was looking at Thermalright T-Rad2 VGA Cooler, is this a good aftermarket cooler?

Thanks.

That hot points at poor airflow in the case or a bad mount of the stock fan. Only you know what your case is like, but if there isn't lots of cold air moving through it, things will run hot.

As for aftermarket coolers, Thermalright don't make rubbish. It'll be fine. It does not exhaust out of the case however, so it will also be intolerant of poor airflow.

What's your system set up like? I assume you're not on water. Dirt cheap and astonishingly good: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SY-000-GE place it sensibly and internal temperatures should improve significantly.

Hope some of that helps :)

My case is Lian-Li PC-7B PLUS II. Yeah the 4850's heat just lingers due to it not having an extra slot for cooling.

Ill give that Akasa thing a try, cheers mate :)
