ok a bit of a problem i purchased the Powercolor Radeon R9 290 PCS+ OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card and bought the Aqua Computer Kryographics Hawaii Radeon R9 290x to fit to this card not realising that the powercolor pcb had been revised and as such is no longer compatable with the block.
the only full cover block i can find that is compatible with the revised gpu is a hideous ek acetal and nickel
so i am left with the choice of running with the stock cooler or fitting an EK-VGA Supremacy Water Block - Copper Plexi this would match the cpu cooler i intend to use for my build
so i guess what i am asking is would the vga block still offer superior cooling coupled with some Watercool passive cooler for VGA RAM 12-Pack
or would it just be purely aesthetic
