Hi,

Specs: opty 170, dfi nf4 sli dr, 2g gskill, 150g raptor,

My 7900gtx was faulty so I have sent it back but its gonna take a few weeks for replacement to arrive as the retailer is out of stock....

Meanwhile I cannot access my system because I don't have a gpu....So I need one to tide me over until my replacement 7900gtx arrives...

Something cheap and cheerful and in the future will help me out in case of such occurences...

Please advise what you think I should go for?

Thanks in advance..

Cheers!!

The cheapest you can find...

ATM I'm using a 8MB G200 PCI MATROX G2+ that i bought of a known auction site(waiting on my x1900xtx to be returned). Its perfect for web browsing/light windows useage, and it only set me back £5.94 inc P+P. I believe the guy who's selling them has plenty of(buy now)stock.

thanks...great spot mate :)

that requires power as I saw from the picture...and i think its a 20pin cable I only have a 6 pin pci power cable....please clarify?

will that be ok for my spec...i do the odd bit of photochoping lol and watching videos etc...???

link?? ;)

*** be nice if it *** handle cod2, gta san andreas, photoshop and enable me to watch films for the next 3 - 4 weeks...dont mind quality as long as they run tis without crashing will be fine....

any ideas...

sorry cant find any and if i do they are so cheap like £5 - £6 I am worried they wont be able to do the above....or am i asking for too much?

either way a link would be great....or u can email me if you want to push the boat out...

thanks for your help

cheers ;)

well if you want a card that will handle cod 2 then wait for your GTX.Read a good book.Get a walk in etc...

Sorry, competitors links are not allowed on this forum.

Just buy any pci card from that well known auction site, mine was £2.49 inc delivery and lasted me a few weeks until my gfx card came. No point wasting money on something good just for a few weeks. Or if you want something a little better pick up a 6200 with turbocache second hand
