GPU/DISPLAY ISSUE

Hello, I am looking for a little information if possible.


Of late my Pre-built PC is showing severe issues with the GPU/VGA. Firstly the DP port is fully intact and functioning , cable has been replaced with a newer 4k cable and the monitor I have has been updated as well. The problem I have seems to be the VGA, The light will flicker on/stay on/or sudden come as the PC will sudden flake out leaving me with a black screen. Sometimes with sound sometimes nothing. I have checked all ports and cables as well as any drivers to see if this is the issue. Also when starting up the PC I am met with the NO DP DISPLAY FOUND message. I have had this checked multiple times but nothing seems to work.



Any help/info on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

This can often be a sign of a bad PSU.

What is your system spec and age of components?

Have you also checked the GPU is fully secured at both ends in the PCI-E slot? It could be a bad connection on some of the pins.

Have you also checked the GPU is fully secured at both ends in the PCI-E slot? It could be a bad connection on some of the pins.

Yes, I have checked this mulitple times yet this issue still happens.

Does your graphics card have more than one DisplayPort socket? if so try another one.

What GPU?
