GPU fan 'croaking' noise

I just bought and installed a used Gigabyte RTX 2060 and one of the fans (I think) is making a noise something like a short croak whenever it starts/stops and occasionally while running.

I've uninstalled the graphics card and gave each fan a little spin with my finger and noticed that the suspected offending fan has a tiny wobble to it (like an un-true bike wheel).

Does anybody have recommendations on how to solve this? If I need a replacement fan what's the best way to ensure I get the right type of fan?

Thanks in advance

Check if there's a screw missing or is stripped, or tighten them (a little, they can strip easily).

Look on the bay for your graphics card model and replacement fans, usually you can find them all there.

Gigabyte used to accept RMAs for cards based on manufacturing date so that could be an option if it hasn't changed.

Best of all, if you don't care much about looks - do a fan mod with normal fans, either 90mm or 120mm, and a GPU PWM fan adapter. That'll give you the best temps and noise reduction apart from watercooling.

I’ve replaced a few fans, the generic replacements work just as well and google a tear down video fo your faces for how to replace them. I did my 1080ti in about ten minutes...

little trick though, try find a fan that has the same stickers, normally the brand logo or something of a sort.
