GPU Fan Noise

Hello all, I built my new pc shortly after Christmas but having not really found anything to push my GPU much, I haven't noticed a new sound. Whenever the fans of the GPU go above 80% this weird noise comes about and gets worse the faster it goes. There doesn't seem to be any wires touching and it's coming from the very left fan. It's a msi rtx3080 trio. Thanks

That sounds like something is touching the fan slightly ?
There is nothing. First thing I checked.

It does sound more like the blades are hitting something rather than a bearing. I wonder if what is happening here is if there is a wire in there that starts to vibrate at higher pressure to such an extent that it is hitting the blades, which then causes the noise. I would take the card out and check for wires underneath the left fan and fix them out the way. I know, it sounds unlikely, but I can't think what else it could be.

So, I took the GPU off and looked at the wire inside. Nicely tucked in so not the issue. I did a bit more testing by apply the tinyest bit of pressure on the fan shroud and turns out something is vibrating. I think between the shroud and the radiators. It's a little crude but seems to have done the job, ive tucked a tiny piece of paper between the rad and the shroud and has stopped the vibrations for now atleast. Probably get some black marker to disguise it a little more unless someone knows a solution.

Ah! How strange is that? Perhaps the shroud is a little out of shape? Who knows? That's a perfectly acceptable solution if it works. Just hope someone buys you a black birthday card.
