That 210 is ancient! Late 2009. Can't believe ocuk have held onto that stock for so long.

That A6 should be able to cope with decoding youtube video. Drivers up to date?

If buying new I probably wouldn't go for anything less than one of these. The 730 is faster than the R7 240 so not sure why they're the same price.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GT 730 "Low Profile" 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £43.99
1 x Sapphire Radeon R7 240 Boost 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card £43.99
1 x MSI GeForce GT 720 OC SILENT 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £31.99

Otherwise get something modern second hand.

Thanks Joey..... which drivers? I dont think the APU for the CPU even has drivers.....thanks very much for the heads up about GPUs but based on your answer I'll look in to software issues first.

If you fill in the following with "APU (accelerated processors)" -> "Desktop APU" -> "A-series APU" -> Your OS it takes you to some version of AMD Catalyst. Give that a try. I wouldn't worry about uninstalling the current drivers TBH but it usually doesn't hurt.

^+1 anything with a graphic componant will still need drivers . Catalyst control centre will manage the Onboard Radeon cores as it would a dedicated GPU .

Look at it this way, he's had the PC a while and now gets a free performance upgrade from installing drivers! lol..

A friend of mine bought a 690 for £750 when they were pretty new, only just realised he had to enable SLi. Suddenly he thinks he has a new PC..

Hey guys.....it turns out it was chrome causing the problem......and within chrome actually a plugin.....dont know which but deleted loads he wasnt using. All sorted now and smooth play back @ 60 fps on youtube.....installed drivers anyway.....

Many thanks for the time & help!
