hey guys, im still very new, and going to be doing my 1st build soon, just wondering for picture and video editing will the onboard gfx be ok or will i need to buy a GPU? i will not be gaming on it

thanks in advance guys :)

Depends on what kind of CPU do you have and what kind of video editing you will be doing.

Usually if the video is not very demanding and you have a modern CPU you are OK with integrated gpu, if it is for professional use I would buy a GPU.

Unless your video use goes into 16gb and above arena, and you are using premier pro handling multiple 1080p or higher video sources the intel should be ok, however if you are going as demanding as I said, get a 2nd hand 570 gtx for CUDA GPU acceleration.

thanks combat squirrel, the max i can do at the moment is 20mins 1080p video on a 8gb flash card so defo wont be going on to a 16gb cf card just yet :) thanks mate
