Ok ben having problems on and off since day 1 with both my mobo and my gpu.

The mobo loses my audio chip for no apparent reason as and when it feels like it, ie it just disappears and not even displayed in device manager, i keep losing my keyboard and have to unplug it and put it back in for windows to pick it up again.
I have been having issues where by my system refuses to boot up and it takes me several cycles to get back into the bios.
Currently as i type here i am getting a lot of distortion/lines across my screen as if my gpu memory has gone wrong.

This so far has been the most unstable machine i have ever owned.

Ocuk have said they will take back the mobo but may not find a fault with it as the audio chip disappears very randomly and more frequently when ocd, as in my 4770k at 4.5ghz. But im currently at stock as want to see whats working as i would expect and have to say audio has still gone belly up.

My specs are listed below.

ok got audio chip showing up in windows as it should says it all working play audio and now getting nothing? Got both edifier speakers and hd518 headphones connected to the back of the mobo and nothing.
I may have to do a fresh install just to see if audio has gone wrong now, i uninstalled the audio chip via device manager and let it reinstall on start up but still no audio even though its showing up in windows as working?

I had the very similar audio problem with a Gigabyte Z87X-OC Force motherboard, it worked fine for a few days then lost the audio signal, showed up in the Task Bar and even showed volume output but no audio. Did 3 fresh install's on different HD's to no avail, so took it back and exchanged it, been fine since.

You can exchange it within 14 days no matter what.

im not within my 14 days unfortunately but been discussing it for a little while with both ocuk and gigabyte.
Did you get the same board as replacement or another?

Yes i got the same board, have had 3 now the first would not boot, 2nd had audio problem and third is fine, not bad for Gigabytes top motherboard.

You can always turn off the audio in the Bios and buy a cheap soundcard if you cannot get it replaced easy enough.

I spent 3 whole days dicking about with it, if its like mine you will be wasting your time.
