GPU heat

Hello!,

I am currently running a HD Radeon 5830 1GB.

I have had no issues with it till recently where I have been running afterburner in my games and noticed that the GPU is reaching 92C.

first off is this ok for this card? I have owned it since new back in 2011 and brought from OCUK.

I have tried the following to lower down the temps but have had no effect.

- re done thermal paste
- cleaned out GPU fan and HS
- left side of case off while gaming to see if it would lower down the temps.

but none have made any difference.

I don't want to really spend too much on sorting the issue as I want to replace it but wondered if anyone else had any ideas to try and lower down the temps.

I can confirm its spinning, caught my finger on it the other day and took a chunk of skin off with it! lol

ill take a look at setting some fan profiles or adjusting the speed

When does it heat up? Is it when you're pushing it to 100% usage or just in general? Out of curiosity, is it still in warranty?
