GPU Load Spikes

Hi everyone,

My GPU has "coil squeal" - but not the average type. I've linked a screenshot from afterburner. What you see on the load graph is idle, just watching afterburner it was spiking every 10-15 seconds and while it spikes, it squeals.

The weird thing is, when I am gaming there is usually not coil squeal.

I've had suggestions to update bios on the card, has anyone ever seen this before? Anyone know of a fix?

did you check if you have any programs running on background?

Nothing running in the background that could cause the gpu to spike. It happens when im running 10 programs or no programs.

1st thing I would remove all AMD drivers, remove afterburner and after that use the AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility (http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx)

reinstall everything back and check it.

Did this is nothing happened. I've also tried a different Bios and the load still happens every 10-15 seconds.
