Hi Guys,

Lately i have been playing World of Warcraft a fair bit, & recieving issues regarding 10 seconds pauses & sometimes getting kicked out of WoW with out of memory error. (not seen it on other games but havent been playing them)

now i have enough RAM & HDD space. so i don't think this is the issue

is there anyway of testing GPU memory for Errors?

Currently running 280GTX SLI OC Editions on driver 260.99

PC Spec

i7 940 @ stock
6GB DDR3 @ 1066 Stock
640GB cavair for games
300GB WD Raptor for OS
280GTX SLI's
1000w Cosair PSU

Could be physical memory too.

OCCT has a test for the GPU VRAM tho it does sometimes throw up false positives.

Your physical/system RAM could be faulty also.

Might want to try the 258.96 drivers as well I've found the 260.99 slightly unstable in some stuff.

You could try this " Video Memory stress Test"

http://mikelab.kiev.ua/index_en.php?page=PROGRAMS/vmt_en

on the main program page there is also a program called "Artifact Locator"

Only ever used the Video Memory stress Test and it came up my video memory was fine after many tests it ran.. Not sure how accurate it really is but it seems to be doing something while I was monitoring the graphics cards memory use. So maybe worth a try its free and will only cost you a little time to run it.
