GPU micro stutter..

Hey guys,

Just finished playing a few comp games on CSGO and have been experiencing some micro stutter when say, jumping and rotating the cross-hair fast..

My temps on my RX 580 are fine,
CPU peak : 50c
GPU peak : 58c

So I really dont understand why this is happening on a less taxing game like CS?

Any help or suggestions much appreciated..

CU update is suffering major mircostutter on all nvidia gpus but am not sure AMD is effected o;

Gamemode off etc?

Where do I check if GameMode is on or off about?

Windows Settings -> Gaming -> Game Mode. You'll only have this if you have the Windows 10 Creators update.

Ironic that 'gaming mode' is causing games to run slowly.

Just finished a game of BF1, and the problem is still there, will go all juddery until I respawn then go back to normal, and its NOT frame drops as I have it set to my 75Hz monitor and med/high quality settings..

It happened once in that 25mins ish game..

I have a fresh Windows 10 install, latest drivers and BIOS etc..

Get msi afterburner and turn on frametime. Check for large spikes. Your fps could be fine but frametime could be off the scales causing stutters. Something the CU has been causing for months.

I used bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock (then reboot) disable HPET

My Asus Mobo doesnt have the HPET option in BIOS but if you read through that thread there might be a fix in there for you as some BF4 players found it helpful too.
