GPU/Motherboard Compatability

Currently running a K9A Platinum motherboard with 2 x HD2600XT's in crossfire but I have been offered 2 3870 XT's on the cheap.

Can anyone confirm that they will work ok in my motherboard?

If the 2600XT was nearly on par with the X1950Pro then I'd say the 3870XT is about two times faster without AA but with AA it's about 1.5 times faster (roughly I had X1900XT and went to 2900Pro past XT speeds). Crossfire scaling will vary on what games you're playing. The boost even with one card will be pretty darn good, with two exceptional.
