GPU not handling HD playback.

I've noticed watching YouTube and other HD video streams on the internet that the CPU takes the job, and doesn't hand it to the GPU. Right now my Q8300 at 2.5ghz is at 50% playing back a 720p stream, resource I'd rather save for other stuff.

Is there any way to get the GPU to pick it up?

What GPU do you have? Sure you're running the latest flash?

Latest flash, two 5770s in crossfire.
